Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. This policy explains what cookies Watchsport uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.

Session cookies. Used to maintain your session while using the app, including keeping you signed in to your Watchsport account. These are strictly necessary for the app to function and cannot be disabled.

Supabase authentication. If you create a Watchsport account, Supabase (our authentication and database provider) sets cookies to manage your login session securely. These are essential and cannot be opted out of while signed in.

Google Analytics 4. If you accept cookies, we use GA4 to understand how visitors use Watchsport. GA4 sets cookies to distinguish users, measure sessions, and track which pages and features are used. This data is anonymised and cannot be used to identify you personally. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies. Google AdSense. Watchsport displays adverts served by Google AdSense for Guest and Free tier users. Google may use cookies to serve relevant ads based on your browsing activity. You can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. Premium subscribers do not see adverts.

Preferences. Watchsport stores your preferences locally (such as your watchlist, favourite teams, and selected bookmaker) using your browser's localStorage. These are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to any server.

Stripe. If you subscribe to Watchsport Premium, Stripe (our payments provider) may set cookies as part of the payment process to prevent fraud and ensure security. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/gb/privacy.

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in to your account. Disabling analytics cookies will stop us from measuring usage but the app will continue to function normally.

Non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising) are only set if you accept cookies via the consent banner shown on your first visit. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies.
